Susan, who joined QIC in 2001, leads QIC’s Global Liquid Strategies (GLS) team. The team is responsible for the successful delivery of global absolute return, global fixed interest and implementation solutions for QIC’s clients.
Susan has 30 years’ experience in financial markets. Previously she held positions as the Head of Strategy for NRMA; Senior Vice President at Bankers Trust Funds Management; and Manager, Fixed Interest at Suncorp Investment Management.
Susan has a Bachelor of Economics, a Graduate Diploma in Economics and an MBA.
Katrina, who joined QIC in 2005, has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services and is responsible for managing research and strategy within QIC’s Global Liquid Strategies team.
Katrina drives QIC’s research program and oversees the fundamental, technical and transitory views that are captured in QIC’s disciplined Scorecard process, which she continues to evolve.
Katrina first joined QIC as a credit specialist and was later appointed Head of Macro Research. In 2013 Katrina was appointed to her current role, Head of Research and Strategy.
Katrina holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and Bachelor of Law (Hons) from the University of Queensland
Kent, who has 15 years’ experience in fixed-interest markets, is responsible for managing QIC GFI Inflation Plus and QIC Bond Plus strategies. In his role, he manages interest rate, credit and inflation position.
Kent also manages the Global Fixed Interest portfolio managers within QIC’s Global Liquid Strategies team.
Kent holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Commerce Medal) from Griffith University and is a member of the AFMA committee.
Scott has 15 years’ markets experience and is responsible for managing QIC’s implementation mandates. He focuses on understanding clients’ objectives to deliver implementation solutions focusing on exposure management.
Scott has been instrumental in establishing frameworks and protocols for managing and clearing derivatives post increased regulation. Also part of Scott’s portfolio management capabilities is representing QIC in the AFMA Inflation and Cash committee.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Business from the Queensland University of Technology and is a Chartered Accountant.
Alison who joined QIC in 2007, has more than fifteen years’ financial markets experience, oversees trading across all QIC’s global liquid market asset classes. Her key roles include leading QIC’s Global Liquid Markets Trading team to achieve ‘best execution’ and ensure all trading activity is accurate and compliant.
The QIC’s Global Liquid Markets Trading team is recognised for their deep understanding of markets and how to trade and effective implement a very broad range of financial instruments across interest rates, credit, inflation, FX, cash, liquid alternatives, equities and commodities.
Alison has held a number of roles across QIC including Portfolio Management roles for both FX and Asset rebalancing overlays. Before joining QIC, Alison worked at Suncorp in a range of roles including trading, portfolio management and risk management.
Alison holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Mathematics from the Queensland University of Technology.
