Jim re-joined QIC in January 2016 as the Managing Director of the Global Multi-Asset Team. Jim is responsible for formulating and implementing the division’s business and investment strategies.
Jim will also be managing all multi-asset portfolios to ensure fiduciary accountabilities are executed effectively and investment objectives are exceeded in a sustainable manner. This encompasses: risk management, asset allocation and portfolio construction, capital market and asset class research, and portfolio construction management across a widely diversified asset class range. His role also incorporates the development of new products to deliver best in class commercial investment outcomes for existing and potential clients.
Jim is a graduate of the University of Queensland with degrees in science and economics and holds a masters degree in economics. He has successfully developed and executed investment strategies and solutions for institutional clients for more than two decades and has held senior investment roles within both the Government and Private sectors.
Previously, Jim was Chief Investment Officer at Telstra Super.Allison Hill joined QIC in January 2018. Allison is the Deputy CIO within the State Investments team.
Allison has 23 years’ experience in investment management and financial markets. Prior to joining QIC, Allison was the Chief Executive Officer at DMP Asset Management, where she oversaw the investment process and asset consulting practice. Prior to this, Allison spent 11 years at Frontier Advisors as a Senior Consultant. Allison was the lead consultant for several of Australia’s largest superannuation funds, was the Head of Debt and Alternatives Research and a member of Frontier’s investment and leadership committees. Allison has a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University and holds several post graduate qualifications including a Graduate Diploma in Management from the AGSM and is a GAICD.
