Global Fixed Interest

Global fixed interest is a core component of institutional investors’ portfolios, providing an important source of capital stability, income, liquidity and diversification. We have a deep fixed-income heritage with a full spectrum of capabilities that range from cash enhanced to Australian Fixed Interest to Inflation Plus and absolute return strategies.

Our investment approach is multi-faceted capturing:

  •  Fundamentals (GDP, inflation, interest rates)
  •  Technicals (momentum, market positioning)
  •  Transitories (political risks, central bank rhetoric and policy direction).

Our unique Scorecard is the discipline in this process, synthesising all the research into a clear and transparent report that translates directly into portfolio construction. When the outcome dictates, we will disconnect from the benchmark and manage interest rate, credit and inflation levers independently, while always mindful of the market.

Clients can access our investment capabilities through segregated mandates as well as a range of pooled products.

Interest rates, credit and inflation exposures are managed without being tied to a benchmark. Highly liquid, the fund provides a defensive option that is not reliant on a singular strategy.

  • QIC Australian Fixed-Income Fund.
